Matthew graduated with a Bachelor of Laws and Commerce from the University of New South Wales. He first joined our team as an intern in December 2024 and has continued with us, having since become an associate.
Throughout his time at AHC, he has shown that he is a quick learner and has rapidly become immersed in Australian immigration law. His main strength lies in his research skills, and he enjoys reading decisions of the High Court.
Matthew is passionate about constitutional law, which often intersects heavily with migration law. He is eager to continue learning under the guidance of our firm’s two Accredited Specialists in Immigration Law. He enjoys being exposed to different types of cases under migration law, having assisted in a diverse range of matters of varying complexity, such as partner visas, citizenship applications, work visas and ministerial intervention.

Matthew loves to go for walks around the city during his lunch break, exploring the many nearby areas such as the Opera House and Royal Botanical Gardens. At home, he enjoys listening to music, particularly J-pop, and tinkering with computers.
