What Are the Exemptions from English Language Tests?
Citizens of English-speaking Countries: If you hold a valid passport from the United Kingdom, United States, Canada, New Zealand or the Republic of Ireland, you do not need to undertake the tests. Exceptions: British National (Overseas) passports are not accepted.
Completion of Education in English: If you have completed a degree, higher degree, diploma, or trade certificate from an institution that required at least 2 years of full-time study in English, you are exempted.
Education at Specific Institutions:
Primary and Secondary Schools: If you studied at a primary or secondary school in or outside Australia where all instruction was in English, you must have completed all primary years and at least three years of secondary education.
