South-West DAMA to Transition to WA DAMA by December 2026
The Shire of Dardanup has announced a significant change for the South-West Designated Area Migration Agreement (DAMA) - it will transition into the broader Western Australia (WA) DAMA framework by December 2026.
Key Details of the Transition of South-West DAMA to WA DAMA
Employers with current Labour Agreements under South-West DAMA will continue to have access to the occupations, terms, and conditions outlined in their existing agreements for their full duration, even after the South-West DAMA Head Agreement expires.
Visas granted under the South-West DAMA will remain valid for their full duration.
