Caveats Not Affected by Employer Sponsored Visas

A question was raised to the Employer Sponsored Program Management Section in relation to businesses satisfying caveat requirements for certain employer sponsored visas. One of the questions is, for the occupation of Accountant (General), the nominating company needs to show that they have an annual turnover of $1M for the last financial year. However, due to COVID-19, the revenue falls short and not meet the caveats. In these circumstances, can the business use associated entities to meet the caveat?

The department’s response is short and simple, financials form associated entities cannot be used to meet the requirements of the subclass 186 visa program.

Our office will keep providing an update with COVID-19 and its continuing effect on migration circumstances so please stay tuned for our articles.
