Mandatory online application for Bridging A, B and C Visas from 1 August 2022

From 1 August 2022, applicants will on longer be able to lodge a paper application for Bridging visa A (BVA), Bridging visa B (BVB) or Bridging visa C (BVC).  Paper applications will no longer be considered valid applications from this date onward.  

Applicants can lodge an application for BVA, BVB, or BVC through ImmiAccount.  

An online webform will also be available from 1 August 2022 on the Department of Home Affairs website for those applicants who are unable to lodge applications through ImmiAccount, or would others have submitted their substantive visas on paper applications or in -person.
