South Australia DAMA Update – TSMIT/CSIT to increase by 1 July 2025

The South Australian (SA) government has announced an important update that may affect local employers and its visa applicants who are under the Designated Area Migration Agreement (DAMA). Following the announcement of the increased skilled visa income threshold to $76,515 starting from 1 July 2025, which are previously known as the Temporary Skilled Migration Income Threshold (TSMIT):

What Are the Key Dates and Requirements?

SA employers must apply for endorsement under the SA DAMAs by 11:59 pm on Monday (9 June 2025). This endorsement is to be considered under the current 2024/25 CSIT requirement of $73,150.

Endorsement application submitted after 9 June 2025 must comply with the new CSIT of $76,515. Additionally, Labour Market Testing (LMT) will need to reflect this updated threshold.

Employers are urged to prepare their applications promptly to secure endorsements under the current requirement.
