Victoria's Skilled Migration Program 2025-26 Open
Victoria has officially launched its skilled migration program for the 2025-26 year, opening avenues for eligible skilled migrants both within Australia and overseas. The Department of Home Affairs (DoHA) has initially granted a smaller, interim allocation:
Skilled Nominated Visa (Subclass 190) for 200 places
Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) Visa (Subclass 491) for 180 places
Who Can Apply for Victoria’s Skilled Migration Program 2025-26?
Applicants are now open to those seeking Victorian state nomination under the SC190 and SC491 visa programs. These visas offer pathways to permanent residency (PR) for skilled migrants who meet specific criteria. Applicants are to submit a new Registration of Interest (ROI) if your previous is has expired. If your current ROI is still active, it remains valid for consideration.
