NSW To Run Skilled Migration Invitation Rounds in April — Update your SkillSelect EOI
NSW Skilled Migration Program is scheduling two upcoming invitation rounds for state nomination:
Skilled Nominated (Subclass 190) visa invitations will be issued in the week commencing 13 April 2026.
Skilled Work Regional (Subclass 491) visa - Pathway 2 invitations will be issued in the week commencing 27 April 2026.
Make sure that your Expression of Interest (EOI) in SkillSelect is current and updated by close of business (COB) Sunday (12 April 2026) for SC190 and by Sunday (26 April 2026) for SC491.
Why You Must Update Your EOI?
NSW issues invitations using the most recent information in SkillSelect. If your EOI is not current, you risk missing an invitation or being assessed on outdated details.
As invitations are highly competitive and limited, only occupations listed on the NSW Skills Lists are eligible for nomination in these rounds. Note that meeting an occupation and lodging an up-to-date EOI does not guarantee an invitation, selection depends on demand, ranking and NSW priorities.
