TRA Job Ready Program Processing Times May 2025 Update

As of 16 May 2025, Trades Recognition Australia (TRA) has updated its average processing times for the Job Ready Program (JRP). Here’s a quick summary of the timelines to help you plan your journey:  

  • Registration Confirmation: Within 45 days of online submission. 

  • Workplace Assessment Eligibility: Decision made within 6 months of application. 

  • Workplace Assessment Referral: Within 6 weeks of applying; the RTO will schedule the assessment within 2 weeks of referral. 

  • Assessment Outcome: Advised approximately 11 weeks after the assessment. 

  • Final Assessment: Invitation issued once all participation requirements are met. 

  • Document Processing: Up to 14 days after receiving additional or missing information.
