Important Update: One Ballot, One Application for SC462/192 Visa Applicants
The Department of Home Affairs (DoHA) has issued a key update regarding the use of Ballot Registration IDs for certain visa applications. It affects individuals selected through the pre-application ballot system for these specific visa subclasses.
Applicants selected in the pre-application ballot to apply for the following visas can only use their assigned Ballot Registration ID once to submit a visa application through ImmiAccount:
This policy has been introduced to prevent any duplicate application attempts. For any more than one application using the same Ballot Registration ID will be blocked.
If an applicant attempts to use the same Ballot Registration ID to start another application in ImmiAccount, an error message will appear to prevent the applicant from applying a second time for the same visa application.
Ensure to stay compliant with these guidelines to prevent any processing delays or face any visa complications. If you have been selected to apply for SC462, you only have 28 calendar days to apply for the visa. Note that the cut-off time follows Australian Eastern Standard Time (EST) on the 28th day.
