All Visa Application Charges to Increase by 1 July 2025 – How Does it Affect You?
The annual visa application charge (VAC) increment took effect on 1 July 2025. The Australian government has announced an increase in visa application fees for various visa categories.
What are the Affected Visa Subclasses?
The VAC changes apply to a wide range of visa subclasses, with an average increase of approximately 3-5%. Student (Subclass 500) visa experienced the highest increase. The Pacific Engagement (Subclass 192) visa in the Treaty Stream VAC remained unchanged. We have put together the common visa subclasses, but not limited to:
