Australian Citizenship Fee to Increase By 1 July 2025!
The Australian government has announced an upcoming adjustment to the Australian citizenship fees. This new change is reflected through the Australian Citizenship Amendment (Indexation of Fees) Regulations 2025. This amendment will take effect from 1 July 2025.
What Changes Can You Expect for Australian Citizenship?
Individuals who are planning to apply for Australian citizenship by 1 July 2025 will see an increase in the application fees they have to pay to the Department of Home Affairs (DoHA). Applicants who wish to apply before 1 July 2025 will not be affected by this change.
