NSW Opens Register of Interests (ROI) for NIV (SC858)

For highly skilled and talented individuals who are interested in applying for the National Innovation Visa (NIV) (Subclass 858) to achieve permanent residency (PR) in Australia. Good news!

The Registration of Interest (ROI) for New South Wales (NSW) Government nomination for the NIV (SC858) is open! Some key tips for your NIV ROI application:

  • Applicants can only submit 1 ROI every 6 months

  • Once you lodge your ROI application, submissions cannot be changed. Make sure to review all details carefully before submitting.

  • If shortlisted, applicants will have 21 days to submit their NSW nomination application. Prompt action is required to secure your nomination.

How to Apply for Registration of Interest (ROI) for NIV (SC858)?

Applicants must be invited by the Department of Home Affairs (DoHA) to apply for the NIV (SC858) application. To be selected for an invitation to apply for the NIV application, interested applicants must submit a Registration of Interest (ROI) through ImmiAccount. The ROI is free, and it is not considered a visa application.
