December 2025 State and Territory Nominations in a Snapshot
The Department of Home Affairs has released the latest state and territory nomination figures for December 2025 (between 30 November and 31 December 2025) for Skilled Skilled Nominated (Subclass 190) visa and Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) (Subclass 491) visa. Here's a quick snapshot at the nominations made:
SC 190 (Skilled Nominated) Visa:
Victoria (VIC) led with the highest at 480 nominations.
New South Wales (NSW) followed with 192 nominations.
Tasmania (TAS) was also actively with issuing 165 nominations.
Western Australia (WA) had the fewest SC 190 nominations at 39.
SC 491 (Skilled Work Regional) Visa:
Victoria (VIC) again led with the highest nominations at 99.
South Australia (SA) followed with 97 nominations issued.
Queensland (QLD) was also prominent with 38 nominations.
New South Wales (NSW) had very few nominations, with just 1.
